John Wattiker brings to his clients at Saunders a diverse and extensive background in both media and financial services sales. For the last decade, John has been a leader in the fashion and luxury industries where he delivers multi-platform advertising and marketing solutions to clients at the world's most prestigious international brands. His demonstrated eye for design positions John uniquely to advise clients on purchasing and/or reimaging property, thus adding value to what is often a client's most prized asset. Prior to his work in advertising, John advised ultra high net worth clients and institutions on their investment, philanthropic and estate plans at both JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank in New York City.
John's mission at Saunders, where he works alongside Jackie Lowey, consistently one of the firm's top producing agents, is to deliver world class representation to clients at all times. He often calls on his network and his personal experience buying and renovating real estate on the East End to augment his client's objectives. He is an eager, forward-thinking, problem solver who is focused on precise execution of all elements of a transaction for his clients.
John is a year-round resident of Amagansett where he lives with his husband, Malcolm, and their two vizslas, Grace and Gwen. John is a graduate of the College of William & Mary where he studied Finance and Public Policy. He is passionate about the community and believes it is his responsibility to give back to our beloved East End towns and villages in order to keep the local spirit alive for generations to come. When he's not busy doing the professional things he loves, John is an avid equestrian and outdoor enthusiast. Whether he's jumping his horse, participating in a local triathlon or cleaning up our shores John is committed to living life to the fullest, while giving back to community organizations such as the Peconic Land Trust, Amber Waves Farm, or ARF among many others.
