Lauren Battista brings over 25 years of management experience in the luxury apparel industry. Lauren has been responsible for retail operations, as well as merchandising, sourcing and business development for some of the world's most recognizable premier brands including Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Barneys NY and J. Crew. In 1996, Lauren launched DesignerOutlet.com, the first web site for off-price designer clothing on the Internet. She served as President and CEO for ten years.
Lauren grew up in Hingham, Massachusetts. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in 1982, she relocated to New York City and began spending her summers in the Hamptons. Over the years, Lauren developed a true appreciation for the area. This ultimately led to her decision to relocate to Quogue on a permanent basis in 2003.
Lauren, along with her husband, Mike Ehlers, and her two children, Natalie and Gavin are actively involved in the community. Lauren is currently the President of the Board of Education for the Quogue school district. She also served as Co-President of the PTA for two years. Lauren serves on the Benefit Committee for the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and the Advisory Board of Grab the Torch.
Among Lauren's many qualifications, she is a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) and has a Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification (SFR). Lauren received the 2018 BHS Annual Award for the top Referral Agent.
