The eastern end of Long Island is home to twelve generations of Jeanne's ancestors beginning with Ralph Dayton, who settled in Southampton in 1640. She grew up in East Hampton, and after attending Emma Willard School and Goucher College, she married a naval officer and raised three children. As a military spouse, she relocated numerous times and has lived in Okinawa, and mainland Japan, Florida, California, Washington D.C., and Norfolk, Virginia.While her children attended Norfolk schools, Jeanne plunged into real estate, following in the footsteps of her father and gained experience in property management, sales, marketing, and relocation. Her success in property management led to her selection as an award winning manager for three consecutive years.
