Astrid's business thrives on the bond of trust that she builds with her clients. She takes great pride in the fact that the majority of her clients are loyal repeat buyers and renters who enthusiastically recommend her to friends, family and colleagues.
Astrid views each and every client as a potential long-term business relationship. In order to be effective, she tries to get to know her client's needs as well as she can. She says, "I provide my clients with the very best advice that I can. I ask myself, what would I do if I were in their situation?" This type of honesty and attention to detail has built Astrid a large following of loyal clients who look to her for sound investment advice.
The Hamptons is a very particular market. Although an increasing number of professionals have made it their primary residence, The Hamptons remains a market dominated by high end luxury second homes and seasonal rentals.
As a resident of Water Mill over the past 17 years, Astrid has a sound understanding of the real estate market in The Hamptons and has tracked it closely as it has transformed itself and grown over time. She has developed list of loyal clients who have bought, renovated, rented out and sold properties repeatedly with her advice and support. Her client list extends internationally. Astrid's network of American and International investors look to her for sound investment advice and support. "My work begins early in the morning, answering e-mails and phone calls from Asia and Europe. Astrid understands the importance of effective marketing:

I am also a believer in virtual staging to provide clients with a better sense of the potential of properties."
She monitors the performance of each form of marketing to ascertain whether it is reaching the correct clientele and adjusts her approach accordingly.
Before coming to the real estate business, Astrid was a partner in a successful international consulting firm. She has a master's degree in Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University in New York, has travelled all over the world, and has lived and worked in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Sudan, Thailand and the U.S.
Astrid is married, has one daughter who graduated from the Chapin School, Barnard College at Columbia University, and New York University's Stern School of Business. She enjoys gardening and is an avid tennis player. When not showing properties, and working with her clients, Astrid tries to unwind at her secluded home in Water Mill.
