James Blueweiss

James Blueweiss is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Brown Harris Stevens and brings over 30 years of sales, marketing, and management experience in the entertainment and media industries to the Hamptons Real Estate market. He was responsible for the development, distribution, and launch of some of the most successful Home & Lifestyle shows on Television including Martha Stewart Living, Bob Vila’s Home Again, and Better Homes & Gardens. He brings the same passion, infectious enthusiasm, and attention to detail to real estate that made him a successful media executive. Having bought and sold numerous properties of his own, joining Brown Harris Stevens was an easy and most welcome transition. 
A Long Island native, James grew up in South Bellmore Harbor Estates. After attending the University of Wisconsin, Madison he relocated to New York City and began spending summers in the Hamptons. In 1999 he bought his first home in East Hampton and in 2005 he moved into the beautifully appointed 2-acre home he enjoys now. When he isn’t living and breathing Real Estate, James loves to cook and entertain his large family and circle of friends. Other hobbies and pastimes include collecting art, design & decorating, attending estate & yard sales, gardening, biking, tennis, reading, writing, and long walks and talks on the beach.
