People know Brook Spencer, formerly Laura Grossman, because of her deep roots in the community and her real estate family. They like her because of the dynamic personality, caring nature, confident demeanor and approachability she exudes. Brook Spencer is someone who gets the job done!

An East Hampton native who learned the ropes of real estate indirectly through her dad who had a brokerage business since the `60s, Brook first ventured on her own before returning to the career she was truly meant for. After graduating from George Washington University, she lived all over the States then spent time teaching in Central America where she became fluent in Spanish. Having also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Australia.

Brook returned home to start her own successful therapeutic massage business which she maintained for many years in the Hamptons and New York City. Ultimately she realized that she could also help others in a very different way.

"I had been recommending great homes for people for over 15 years, plus had bought and sold several of my own properties along the way," said Brook, who seemed a real estate natural with her confident attitude and seasoned sales savvy. "I decided to pursue residential sales because not only do I find it challenging and rewarding; I love matchmaking and I'm good at it."

Happily married, Brook and her husband live with their fabulous cats and give as much as they can to animal charities, Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations, local police and fire organizations, as well as the Retreat. Besides pursuing her PhD in Naturopathic Medicine, Brook also balances the seriousness of her work with the therapy of music via her first true love, acoustic guitar and voice.
