When Michael Nordlinger joined the Coastguard and came to Montauk, he never dreamed he’d love the area so much he’d not only spend the past 25 years living here, but would ultimately rent and sell real estate in an area he knows so well.
Clients find Michael’s passion for Montauk and all that the East End of Long Island has to offer contagious. They also appreciate his extensive knowledge of the market, and his insight explaining the different options available for each person’s unique needs.
Michael’s expertise and background in carpentry and residential construction is an added bonus for clients, who benefit from his “insider’s perspective” on quality and value when it comes to buying a home.
Originally from Maryland, Michael earned his FAA Aircraft Mechanics License from the College of Aeronautics in Queens, New York. He previously spent 10 years working in the field, and served as a Ramp Supervisor at the East Hampton Airport. This experience honed the meticulous focus and attention to detail that Michael brings to every undertaking, especially when it involves such a large investment for his real estate clients.
Married with three children, Michael is also actively involved in family life. He is the head coach of his son’s baseball team, and when a little “me” time allows, he most enjoys the water, whether fishing or surfing the ocean waves.
