Micki Dion has excelled as a top-producing East Hampton real estate broker for more than 25 years. She is a highly regarded professional who listens carefully to her clientele's needs, calls upon her extensive market knowledge to match people with the right homes, and employs her keen negotiating skills to secure the best deals. Her fine results and ongoing stream of referrals attest to her hard work and quality service.
One might call Micki, an East Hampton resident for nearly 40 years, a walking Yellow Pages of the Hamptons. She's witnessed many changes through the time plus understands the individual nuances of each area, so she can capably educate people on the market, its potential and diverse offerings. Even after a transaction is done and her customers are enjoying their new home, Micki enjoys ongoing relationships with those she's served, who continually rely on her for tips on who to call and where to go.
Micki doesn't mind though, because when she enters into a deal with someone she knows she's not only gaining a loyal client but a neighbor as well.
Originally from New York City, Micki studied advertising at New York University then worked for Lever Brothers in the advertising department. She met her husband in the Hamptons, where the couple moved in 1967, and they are still happily married, with two sons and a grandson, after 37 years. Micki, who first worked at South Hampton Commons as an on-site real estate agent, subsequently got her brokers license and has enjoyed success in the field ever since. She truly believes in the product she sells, as she and her husband bought and sold many properties personally over the years, including commercial real estate.
Besides devoting time to work, Micki is also active in her community. She sat twice on the Board of Directors of the Ladies Village Improvement Society, was Trustee as well as Treasurer of East Hampton's First Presbyterian Church, and served as liaison for handicapped children working with the East Hampton School District and parents. An avid golfer and sailor, Micki also enjoys getting away to her vacation home in Tortola every year.
