Since beginning her real estate career on the North Fork in 1987, Susan has marketed and sold a broad spectrum of properties including building lots, farms, residential, vacation and investment homes, as well as all types of waterfront properties. A North Fork resident for over 30 years, she has owned homes in Mattituck and Southold, and brings personal and professional expertise to her clients.

"My reputation as an honest, diligent, result-oriented real estate professional is extremely important to me. I have never seen the point of telling someone what they want to hear, as opposed to what is actually going to help them achieve their goal." Her ethical approach and admirable integrity continually earn clients' loyalty and trust.

Susan believes that your needs are the number one priority, yet there is an education process involved in helping you attain what you want, while knowing what's realistic.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Susan studied art and sociology in college. Other than real estate, she worked in office administration for Peconic Landing, an attorney and an architect. Dealing with the public, displaying grace under pressure, and doing what it takes to complete a task within pressing deadlines have always been her fortes.

Susan fell in love with the East End of Long Island on her first visit and moved to the North Fork a year later. "The rural character, history and proximity of the water were immediately appealing to me!" Susan has since been active in her community as a volunteer and supporter of Peconic Land Trust, the Retreat, Maureen's Haven, and Hallockville Farm Museum. She maintains an organic vegetable garden plot at The Peconic Land Trust's Charnew's Farm Community Garden in Southold as well as perennial gardens at her home, which she shares with her 10-year-old Weimaraner. Susan is also a watercolor painter, fiddle player, passionate cook, yoga practitioner and hiking/biking enthusiast.
