Chris Fanning MR

A member of The Chris Kann Team at Corcoran, Chris and his colleagues specialize in luxury real estate, and provide discreet, extraordinary service for buyers, sellers, renters and investors. The team covers all of New York City, as well as the Hamptons and Shelter Island, where Chris also has a home. He moved to Manhattan after college, living on Leonard Street in Tribeca for over 20 years, and now resides in Columbus Circle. This native of California was raised in Miami Beach and inspired by his grandmother, a real estate broker, from a young age. He accompanied her to home showings, and developed a lifelong fascination with the industry. As an undergrad at the University of Miami, Chris studied entertainment law, however, he was also beginning to be recognized amongst the creative scene and fashion circles of Miami Beach as an up and coming photographer. He spent the next 25 years traveling the globe as a professional photographer whose work spanned editorial, advertising, and fine art. Chris was often recognized for his reliability and prompt work ethic and was able to maintain many of his clients year after year. Chris’ clientele was comprised of celebrities, athletes, and prominent artists. Personally, Chris is dad to two amazing daughters. When he has free time, Chris enjoys exploring and fishing the beaches and backwaters of Eastern Long Island and Shelter Island. He is also an avid golfer.
