Schuyler Semlear
Licensed Salesperson
As a fourth-generation resident of the East End, real estate salesperson Schuyler Semlear understands what makes the Hamptons so unique. After 13 years experience working as a science teacher at a prestigious independent school in Manhattan, Schuyler is returning to his roots. Schuyler’s grandparents lived two houses down from the Whaling Museum on Main Street in Sag Harbor, and his great grandmother had a house on the water in Noyack which eventually became the home where Schuyler grew up. Being born and raised in Sag Harbor sparked Schuyler’s love and appreciation for the unique towns and hamlets, as well as the pristine water bodies and natural beauty that engulf the South Fork.
Working as an educator in Manhattan provided Schuyler the opportunity to articulately communicate and convey ideas to a wide audience while connecting with others. He is constantly learning about the ever-changing real estate market on the East End, and how to best meet the needs and wants of his clients. Teachers are excellent listeners, and this quality in Schuyler will ensure his clients’ expectations are exceeded in their experience working with him. The opportunity to also educate a client on the history of the East End, current trends in real estate, as well as the local school districts and cultural opportunities brings excitement to Schuyler.
With his extensive knowledge of the East End, including where to go for a quiet beach day, the perfect fall hike, or a dinner with a view, Schuyler is the ultimate resource for those looking to find their niche in Hamptons real estate. One of Schuyler’s favorite aspects of the Hamptons real estate is “the opportunity to integrate the beauty of the natural surroundings into everyday living, whether through all season outdoor living areas, or sun filled sitting rooms. The sense of tranquility that comes from the East End is what drives him to help others find the same.”
When not helping clients find their slice of Hamptons real estate, Schuyler likes to soak in the many outdoor activities the East End has to offer from morning beach runs followed by a restorative surf session, to outdoor yoga.
