A Southampton resident since 1955, Wally Glennon brings an array of professional and personal experience to Sotheby's International Realty's Hamptons practice. He has successfully completed the listing and sales of a broad range of properties since joining Sotheby's International Realty in 2007. His deep familiarity with the subtleties of the many distinct Hamptons communities as well as his international financing experience distinguish the service he provides.
After attending local schools and graduating from Boston College, he worked in the investment banking business in New York and Europe for many years. His responsibilities focused on relationships with institutional clients in the United States and Europe.
Wally's family has been prominent in the Southampton business community for over 50 years. Wally has two adult sons and has owned a home here since 1983.
He has been an active supporter and fundraiser for local charitable institutions. In 2004, Wally founded Squash in the Hamptons, a not-for-profit group for the construction and development of a squash center for the Town of Southampton. He serves as a board member of Southampton Youth Services Inc. A competitive squash player, Wally also enjoys golf, skiing and personal fitness.
