Frederick Butti's love for East Hampton dates back 40 years when he began vacationing there. Ultimately, his passion for the place took over and he left Manhattan to live out East full-time in 1987. For most of that time, Frederick has shared his affection for and knowledge of the area with others as a trusted, honorable, hardworking real estate professional. While the rewards of his work have been many, including great gratification, widespread recognition and a wealth of connections, that which he cherishes most is the loyalty of his clientele, evidenced in the form of the referrals and repeat business.
Upon his entry into real estate, Frederick learned the ropes working alongside the former maven of real estate, Meg Young, forming a solid foundation for his own success. He eventually came to manage Dayton-Halstead before its transition to Corcoran, for over a decade, where he was a vital force in growing the business. In returning to his favorite roles of selling and listing, he continues to bring a wealth of experience to the table so that East Hampton area buyers, sellers and renters alike gain the information they need and the best results possible. He is presently an Associate Broker at Sothebys' International Realty.
A native Manhattanite, Frederick attended City University where he earned his Master's degree. He taught French and Spanish in the New York City school system for over 20 years, all the while cultivating valuable personal expertise in real estate buying and selling his own co-ops in the city. Frederick's professional success is all about service - exceptional service, whether the demand be a modest rental or a multi-million-dollar home purchase.
