Professionally, she has 20 years' experience analyzing and valuing assets and marketing global securities to mutual, hedge, and pension funds. She specialized in China and S.E. Asian equity markets, macroeconomics, derivative securities, asset allocation, and risk management. As a consultant and published author, she has spoken professionally to business, legal, IT, student, and other specialized audiences about information governance and e-discovery.

Laura earned her B.S. degree in finance from Indiana University and a M.B.A. in economics from New York University. A long time visitor to The Hamptons, she spends her time in Water Mill and Manhattan, NY.
